Chiswick Delicious Markets
Challenge
Chiswick Woollahra has something almost no other Sydney venue can claim: a working kitchen garden just outside the dining room window. Chef Matt Moran's planted-to-plate philosophy shapes the menu, changing with the seasons. The challenge was to bring that philosophy off the plate and into a market experience, in partnership with Delicious magazine and American Express, while broadening Chiswick's audience beyond its established fine dining crowd without losing the trust already built.

The reference point was a family recipe card, scribbled and well-loved, brought to life with a seasonal energy. Approachable warmth meeting modern vibrancy. The palette was sampled directly from seasonally harvested produce: deep earthy greens, rustic oranges, warm ochres. Type wise, Balladeer evokes handwritten recipe cards, while Music Nouveau adds an organic, musical energy. Scalloped borders reminiscent of linen napkins and picnic checks unify the system, while photography leans into spring warmth and abundance, fresh produce, and soft Sunday morning light.

Application
The brand extended across the experience. Physical touch points included signage, wayfinding, and packaging, while digital covered social, ads, EDM, and web. A vendor template kit enabled stallholders to create on-brand materials, maintaining consistency without ongoing design support.
